I've liked owls for some time now as they are such nice animals and not really admired by the fashion industry - apart from the fascination by 'owl' pendants that we could observe about a year ago on the necks of Mischa Barton and other celebrities alike. The most famous owl is probably the Owl from A.A. Milne's "Winnie-the-Pooh" - in fact I cannot recall any other owl character from a book or a cartoon. I've always liked what the Rabbit said once to the Owl: 'You and I have brains. The others have fluff' , though the Owl wasn't the wisest animal in the Hundred Acre Wood at all.
I found this T-shirt in Topshop and really like the colours and the fact that the owl takes the whole front :) There can be many ways of wearing it, with trousers and skirts and I prefer mixing it with clothes in monochromatic colours. It's not warm enough in London now to wear shoes like that but they look well with this top and I'll wear them a lot in summer.
The picture is by Jan Bauman, a Dutch illustrator. The owl on the right is part of one of the buildings in Barcelona - imagine how happy I was to find a treasure like that to add to my triptych!

Pierwsza! To co zwykle- podoba mi się. Sówka jest urocza, torba naprawdę świetna- tym bardziej, że skoro pochodzi z szafy babci to pewnie jest prawdziwym vintage'owym unikatem. I ogromny plus za podwyzszoną talię i odejście od wszechobecnego fasonu rurek na rzecz szerszych nogawek.

Rzeczywiście, rzadko się spotyka motyw sowy w modzie. A sowy są piękne, jedna mieszka na drzewie przy moim domu. Uwielbiam jej słuchać. :)
Koszulka śliczna, buty też of course. :)Jeszcze trochę i będzie naprawdę ciepło. :)
Styledigger: Torba jest wlasciwie jedyna, ktora odziedziczylam po babci. Gdzies tam w szafie sa pewnie inne skarby, musze pogrzebac. Rurki lubie, mam wrazenie, ze przy moim wzroscie szerokie spodnie jakos mnie przytlaczaja, ale nie nosze jakichs niewiarygodnie szerokich. Te ujda :)
Alice Point: Do damy mi jeszcze daleko, ale dziekuje za komplement :)
Dziewczyna z szafa: Ja w ogole srednio lubie zolty, przekonuje sie do niego. Sa ladne odcienie i takie bananowe, byle jakie, za ktorymi nie przepadam.

Love the overall look; you can pull off colours so nicely. And that bag is amazing. Isn't it great when you can still enjoy some items that once belonged to your grandparents?! It's hard to imagine that our generation's future kids could actually have some of our things as the quality of many brands and goods is getting worse and worse.
Żółty to ostatnio mój ulubiony kolor jeśli chodzi o ciuchy. A za takie buty jak masz na zdjęciu dałabym się pokroić. Super wyglądasz!!!

Sanna: Thanks, my grandma wasn't very much into fashion, unfortunately, but I can still find a few gems at her place.
I don't think that clothes manufactured now are of worse quality, it all depends on where you buy and what fabrics you choose. In the 70s there was this horrible craze about polyester, all trendy men's shorts were made from polyester - that was poor quality! And I guess future generations will have it even better that we do in terms of clothes and accessories as they will inherit our grandparents' and parents' stuff plus ours!
Solardew: Dzieki, buty nie sa niestety najwygodniejsze, troche zsuwaja sie z piet, wiec nadaja sie raczej na krotkie wyprawy. Ale lubie ich fason i kolor :)
